Laser cut Pheonix

So the last Project I did was to have this laser cut on Avicraft's cutter.

After converting the original image to black and white I imported it into 2D Design and cleaned up the edges and put some curves onto the wings.

After it had been laser cut I ran some sandpaper over it to get rid of the burn marks,

Kindle Problems

So my Kindle 3 decided to keep redrawing the Symbol (when you press Sym) box on the top right hand side of the screen. After trying to find out why I decided to do a hard reset by sliding the power button for 15 seconds which has so far caused the problem to go away.

1. Remove your Kindle 3 from the power source if it’s connected.
2. Slide the power switch to the right and hold it there.
3. Count to 15 as if you’re counting seconds, and remember to hold switch in-place for for 15 seconds. Release the switch now.
4. The screen will be blank for 30 seconds, and then the Kindle will restart.

Scout Centenary Camp

Well the Scout group I am an assistant leader at has its first of many Centenary activities this weekend A Camp at the districts camp site. We are expecting 50 odd people of all ages to turn up. I hope the weather is good.
